“Streb Extreme Action in Performance” Performance Art Experience

Presented by Radial Arts

June 14 at The Tang Teaching Museum

Saratoga Springs, NY — Radial Arts, formerly known as SaratogaArtsFest, in partnership with the Skidmore College Office of Special Programs and the New York State Council on the Arts, presents an exhilarating evening of experimental dance with “Streb Extreme Action in Performance,” on June 14th at 6pm at The Frances Young Tang Teaching Museum at Skidmore College.

“We are very excited about our partnership with Skidmore and the Tang Museum on this event! Think rock concert meets extreme dance, straight from Brooklyn to Saratoga Springs,” said Ellen Beal Radial Arts Board Chair. “Not only will attendees get to experience the strength and beauty of Streb, they will also be treated to a special VIP talk by Elizabeth Streb before the show. This is a truly unique opportunity and we hope it will attract many community members who may be curious about the Tang but have never accessed events on the Skidmore campus before!”

Renowned choreographer Elizabeth Streb founded STREB Extreme Action Company and is Skidmore’s Summer Dance Choreographer-in-Residence. The company specializes in performing gravity-defying and physically demanding performances that combine virtuosity, technical skill, and popular appeal. The evening will begin with a VIP pre-performance talk with Streb for Radial Arts followed by a performance with Streb SEA (Singular Extreme Actions).

This event is free and open to the public. To register and for more details please visit our website.
